Nate is out — Day 3 (Opening Day)

9 04 2011

So, today was pretty freakin’ awesome — I’m not going to lie. I’ll blog about my adventures from Opening Weekend on Sunday, but it’s been a long day, a long fun one. Actually, I was kind of looking forward to work today because of what it represented — an opportunity to design something that revolves around the San Francisco Giants and Opening Day. Granted, when I was thinking about how I wanted to design this page (why with Nathan Mollat still on vacation) I had no idea that I would be offered an ACTUAL GAME TICKET. But when all was said and done, I was quite please with how this page came out.

The picture belongs to Andrew Scheiner of the Daily Journal, who was a life saver considering the pictures filed by Reuters weren’t that great. Thanks to his work, the page came together nicely.

Well, it was a hell of a three days. Lots of work, lots of fun though. More than anything, lots of nerves … when you put together pages you, well, I, always go to bed thinking “oh man, I hope didn’t screw up.” Anyways, I’m proud of this one.
